We know that about 40% of the food in the USA ends up becoming waste before it ever reaches our tables. What are we doing in the Greater Lansing area to divert food waste - and what else could we do? This report, created by students in the the MSU Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Minor, is a preliminary report of ways we are already tackling the problem, and suggests some ways we could do even more to make the most of our food.
